Every so often my 900 won't start up. It will just click and I have eliminated the battery. At one point we thought it was a dead spot on the starter and proceeded to try and roll the car a bit moving it off that spot... Other times it seemed we had a short in the ignition. I'd force the key one way or another as I started it and it seemed to connect... The no start situation seems to occur after it's been driven. Meaning if I start it from a dead cold, it works fine. But if it gets hot there tends to be a problem. All of this has just been a mild nuisance until we took a little road trip half way across Colorado last weekend and when we stopped for gas, it wouldn't start. Neither trick worked and I finally had to roll it and pop the clutch to get it going....

Has anyone else experienced this or do the symptoms point to one thing more than the other. As I recall the starter was going to be a challenge to pull, so before I dig in to one area or the other, I'm looking for another opinion as to what might be causing this.
