!noel (if you pardon my C-styled notation),
it's an ordinary Leroy Merlin (or Ikea, maybe) gas spring. When choosing one you should consider the door opening angle and lifting weight (like if you put lots of heaving stuff there in the tool box). When designing the bracket remember to take into account the following scheme below (when gas spring is having the minimum length NOT in the lowest position) if you'd like to keep the self-closing feature at small angles.

Yep, bigger isn't always the better: with too powerful spring you will deform the cellar door hinges. And even with my 180N (IRC) spring I had to add extra fixtures to the plywood floor so it doesn't slide back (i.e. to the rear bumper) so the cellar door doesn't cling to the hatch door lower panel on the 5-7th day. I replaced stock screws which hold the plywood floor with solid bolts and also installed two extra ones into the two brackets - underneath the plywood panel - which they leave unused in 3D's (probably, they're used in CV bodies): now it's 4 bolts total to hold the plywood floor panel.
