Tonight I:
Removed plugs - they are BLACK around the outside end by the threads, a bit up the bendable electrode, and some in an odd pattern on the center electrode. I gapped at .018"-.020" as PEVA (on another Forum) suggested. No difference.
Verified that boost gage line is intact & connected at both ends.
Verified that Overboost Limit Switch has vacuum line connected, along with a yellow/red wire and a black wire.
Took a plugged hose, connected it to the fitting in the intake where the Overboost Limit Switch gets its feed. Eliminated that system I think?
Changed AMM (used)
Visually inspected in speaker hole where the Heater Valve was removed/slipped into place. No broken/disconnected wires.
Removed APC Solenoid hose from Turbo Wastegate. No difference.
My "Winter Beater" is sitting here with a good set of Turbo hoses etc. Tomorrow I'll try to change all the hoses/tubes near the radiator, to see what that does. And A NTC? What about Fuel Pressure Regulator? How do you check it?
Thanks. Vern
