Follow-up, Problem solved for future references. Started with the simplest probable causes, no intake or Turbo passage leaks, had just reassembled that system while replacing the original clutch this Spring, (283K on that clutch was gratfying) Then checked for a snort by priming the intake with fuel, nothing. Next snapped a plug lead and NGK plug into a distributor nipple well grounded to the block within view of the driver's seat, noticed only weak and occasional spark, not going anywhere with that. Cap and rotor looked OK by appearances inside and out, but swapped with a back-up pair in the toolbox, removed but saved from the junk barrel during a routine ckeck-up sometime in the past. Bang , fired just like I always expect, ready for another 100K. Sailed US41 at 70mph just like always. Thank you
