What's it mean when there is about 8.5-9.5 volts going to the fuel pump when cranking? It jumps to 11.5 when I turn the key off and the pump emits a quick buzz. The car hasn't been running in a few weeks and I've check most every part that may have something to do with fuel pump voltage. It has good spark and only runs when I jump the fuel pump with an external source. Oh, it's a 88 16v sedan.
Thank you.
One other thing, the check engine light is on. Where is the plug one uses to read the stored codes?
