Guy but I know what the primary 8s are, if I recall the oem transmission runs 500 rpms faster than the primary 8s and at top speed the oem gear set runs at 125mph, the 8's run around 133mph not much of a huge gain and defiantly not worth the work to install them, or for me the cash. I'd ship my transmission to CMyles for the work which in a ball park figure with the purchase of the 8s I'm looking at the better part of 2grand just for the transmission now I got to put it in the car. I love the idea but when all the figures are laid out'
