The relay, as you know, is in a difficult spot to access. If I remember correctly, it is under the passenger side knee bolster of the dash and held in place by a gold color clamp that attaches it to the HVAC duct work that is above the knee bolster and below the dash.
The clamp is best described as a sort of a C that clamps over the ducting and holds the relay in place. Best thing to do before starting is to reach up under the bolster to verify the side it is on. The relay is rectangular in shape, maybe 6 or so inches in length and about half that in width.
Last time I did one was quite some time back but it is doable without removing the bolster. I removed the seat (four torx bolts plus wiring) so I could lay flat on the floor which made things much easier to access. A lot less work then removing the boltser.
Good luck!
