Sunroof: Everything Good, No Voltage at Motor WTF?

After being parked for a couple of days, the sunroof in my '89 turbo is dead.
I checked the voltage to the switch, the voltage thru the switch (pushing one way puts +12 on the green wire at the connector, pushing the other way puts +12 on the red wire), and the ground at the switch connector is good.
But I STILL see no voltage on the motor connector in the trunk. I looked for a connector under the rear seat, but found none -- it looks to me that the red/green wires run straight from the switch to the sunroof motor connector in the trunk.
Anyone have an idea what the fnork is going on here? I don't buy that a wire could just "go bad", but if not how is the voltage being lost between the switch and the trunk connector?
Thank you.
