Don't know anything about after-market mounts but I do know that the original solid motor mounts were the best, by far. Even when they died nothing bad happened. Any noticeable vibration or rattle usually happens because the lower front lip of the automatics is in contact with the body at the front end of the skid plate. If I pull an engine it always goes back in with two solid side mounts and a wooden shim under the front MM strap. (and a hammered down skid-plate.)
