I don't think you need to remove the seat skin....... But you DO have to remove the seat cushion you sit on. The motor in the center of the front edge of the seat is where you will disconnect one of the cables (either one, I think), and then get the seat back realigned, before reassembling. You may want to install the seat with 2 bolts after you realign and sit in the seat to make sure it "feels right" before you put it all back together. The seat back can be operated by 12-volts to the red/black wires to achieve the alignment. Vern
