RogerD is right it is easier to do the front one with the passenger loosened.
Before you do that, check to see if the passenger side has collapsed -- if that is the case, you would want to replace both the front and side mounts. I've supported the passenger side mount with a hoist lifting from the drivers side of the car, whilst a floor jack has moved the transmission just enough to slip a front motor mount in. Use a wood block under the transmission so you don't damage the case.
Don't pull up on the passenger side any more than necessary as you'll be moving the shifter coupling substantially if you do that. The dogbone coupler might be shot anyway, so you may have to replace it anyway.
Then, when you assemble the front mount with the metal U strap, jam a rubber exhaust hanger ( that costs like a dollar or two -- just replace the one one in the very very back with a a new one and use the old one ) between the U strap and the top of the engine mount. It helps make the front mount more solid, and will stop the engine from lifting from a failure of the mount the next time that happens.
