Baab, (Brad or Bob? I recall googling for your name but I don't remember what I came up with, sorry)
having the car jacked up are you able to stop a manually spinning wheel applying a force to the brake pedal with the engine stopped? Is it the same for all four wheels? If it was 'yes & yes' then your story looks like a typical brake booster failure to me.
I haven't gotten inside any C900 brake booster, but many others that I've seen feature a special bolt inside the push-rod - which you push with the brake pedal - to adjust the booster performance. And the booster can be more or less perfectly set up, over- and under-regulated (the latter means no servo assistance and the former means you can't unbrake your car after you press the brake pedal). Usually, there's an air filter to filter out all the dirt from the cabin air going into the intake manifold when you hit the pedal toggling the brake booster on.
But I think that your issue is more like the diaphragm failure since you describe it as NO ASSISTANCE at all + your engine goes stalling when you engage the brake booster.
