You will need to weld in the later style seat mounting brackets from a 1987 900 with electric belts. That is the only year with front e-brake lever and that style of seat mount. Lots of work, but if you want to convert to later brakes, wheels you would need the mounts from a 91 -93 900. I have these seats in a 94 cv, they are very comfy, but pretty tight space wise especially for getting into the back seat.
