This goes on the bottom of the frame rail where the lower control arm and aluminum cross member mount. This replaces the rotted area that typically makes the passenger side lower control arm flop around and causes handling problems. You will also need to make other sheet metal plates to repair and strengthen other areas attacked by rust, but those pieces are easier to make and do not have lots of bends. This is about an 8 hour job and is worth doing to save your car.
