Guys, it looks like the new transmission definitely has the solid mount cover. I will have to source the bracket on the vehicle-side. I would rather do that than swap covers since I'd like to leave the rebuilt unit untouched even though the cover swap would be a pretty minor intrusion. Also Simon said the solid mount might last longer. Here is a pic of what I'm dealing with.
