Steering Column Bushings - Polyurethane Posted by ccb056 [Email] (#1568) [Profile/Gallery] (more from ccb056) on Mon, 14 Dec 2015 18:35:04 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
OK, so the dreaded loose steering wheel that leads to clock spring failure seems to be caused by the failure of rubber bushings 8972374 and 8950172.
8972374 is still available; however, 8950172 is NLA, linked below:

I was wondering if anyone had interest in going for a group buy in getting these done in polyurethane. A quick google search comes up with quite a few companies offering quotes for custom pieces:

Anyone have any experiences, recommendations for something like this?
I've got a lightly used 8950172 I can send off for quotes, and I can get a new 8972374 from eEuro as well.
