Bob is correct in that the 900 turbo SE convertibles were only made in 1991. As I recall from previous articles in NINES and other reliable sources, only 300 units in Monte Carlo Yellow and about 400 units in Plantana Gray were imported in to the US that year and marked as Special Edition models (these cars marked the five-year anniversary of the convertible.) That said, I have a Saab sales brochure for model year 1992 and you could special order a convertible in Monte Carlo Yellow, but it was not a designated SE, with SPG side skirts, badge delete, etc. So, this may be the source of some of the confusion.
