That's the stuff. Don't use Redline's MT-90, especially up where you are. I think Saab originally specified a 75W - very thin. The MT-90 is too thick.
I'm thinking of trying some VW G 70 (everyone calls it by this shortened VW part number) that I've used in VW gearboxes. It works great. But it's also formulated for transverse engine boxes where all the gears are parallel. There's another fluid, VW/Audi G 052 911 A2 that is made for inline boxes like the C900. It's considered a "GL4+" that has some of the EP characteristics of a GL5 but will not harm the yellow metal synchronizers we have.
I've also had good luck in the summer with 10W40 motorcycle oils. They are more like the old motor oils (API SJ-rated) that Saab recommended for our transmissions. This is because most motorcycles share motor and gearbox oil so the oil they use needs to work with transmissions as well as engines.
