Are the 1986 SPG that I've had for about 15 years. It has always had a weird hard start issue. Like it was almost starving for fuel after a minute or so it would be fine. It didn't matter what I changed until tonight. The fuel pump finally went out I put a new fuel pump and pre pump and filters not the inline filter just the filters on the pumps. Started the car up problem has seemed to go completely away. Idled smooth from the very beginning didn't have to play with the fuel all just drove it down the highway everything's all good. I had tried air mass meter, the temperature sensor all sorts of stuff the regular fuel filter nothing ever changed I actually completely put a different engine in not because of that reason but I did still have the same issue should have known it was the fuel pump since that was the last thing. The gentleman that's going to do my header and downpipe and stainless steel exhaust has got all of my parts today along with the external wastegate and new muffler I will be taking it down to him hopefully soon I will be autocrossing the car. Thanks to Turbo Supply for the nice 16g wheel upgrade. It pulls like crazy now especially in fourth. Thanks to land jet for that
