Hello All,

After a few years away from the joys of old Saab ownership, I am back in the game in a big way. I purchased a 1985 900 S Two-Door Notchback earlier this week and I am pleased as punch.

The car has 332,000 miles on a working(!) odometer. There are a few flaws to be sure but no leaks, engine runs well, 5-speed manual shifts smoothly, and the AC blows cold. Eight valves and no turbo means its a little slow, but I just bought it to cruise around. Plus, its the same driveline as my first ever car ('84 900 Sedan) and who doesn't wish they could take their first for one more spin around the block? ;)

The car came with meticulous maintenance records and a truckload (literally) of spare parts. Amongst these parts is a full set of wheels from a 1979 900 turbo (I think). These are called Inka wheels if I am not mistaken? I may sell these wheels and I'm wondering what they are worth? I see nothing similar for sale at the moment on this website or on popular internet auction sites, for better or worse.

Anyway, it is a pleasure to have a good reason to be on this message board again. Saabnet.com has the most helpful and civilized user group on the internet that I have seen, as it should be. I hope you are all doing well.
