Why not finish off the clutch hydraulics overhaul and replace the hose between the master and clutch. The hose between the reservoir and master can also be suspect for its age. Nowadays people are replacing this with a silicone hose.

Is your fluid dropping during all this?

In case you might not know, there's a tiny reservoir inside the brake fluid reservoir just for the clutch -- right above the master hose. Most people would just look at the fluid through the reservoir and not know this.
