I'm wondering about the dash... yeah, I know, 12.0V is way low. Better than 11.5V (from before the alt swap) but way low. That I'm not getting different voltage drops for different measurement points suggests wiring is ok (and battery cables, starter cable and grounds are quite new on this car - I've replaced all of those myself).
I've had the dash lighting periodically going dark on me for about a year... or half green half dark... comes and goes... maybe bad connections in the dash are plaguing the charging light bulb circuit? But it does light up so it is not burnt out!
I do plan to swap and ideally load test this battery as a first step in case there is some self-shorting or something... though if it works perfectly in the other c900 and it's battery performs the same in this car, the load test might not be as essential... both are quite new interstate batteries, but that doesn't count for much!
