Power window wiring runs under the carpet between the driver's seat and center console. The insulation on that wiring is subjected to high heat from the catalytic converter after the heat shield above the converter rusts out. Poor insulation and water could be allowing your window wiring to short circuit to ground.
1. Remove front seats.
2. Remove door sill plates.
3. Remove center console.
4. Remove carpet padding.
5. Remove clips or wrapping from wiring bundle.
6. Trace wires from window switch connectors into the bundle.
7. Inspect those wires for visible damage to insulation. In fact, it's good to inspect all the wires that run past the converter area.
8. If faulty insulation is found, strip the wire back a couple inches and notice how the copper is corroded. All of that corroded wire should be replaced. Cut the wire back in both directions until no more corrosion is found, then splice in a new section using crimp connectors. (Cut, strip, inspect, repeat until shiny copper wiring is found.)
9. Repeat with all bad wires.
10. Replace fuse, check window operation.
If that seems like a lot of work, other troubleshooting can be done first. For example, a door panel can be removed and wires connected directly to the power window motor to verify the motor didn't fail coincidentally with the water leak.
