Well, I was just thinking that it's *only* the BOV hose that was blowing off, so maybe the BOV is stuck or something. None of the other connections are popping out and the manifold connector popped out specifically in response to my releasing throttle after flooring it - i.e., BOV related.
I'm not thinking the grommet and hose don't need replacing, they do. I just don't want to replace it and still have a problem to deal with, rather deal with them all at once.
Plus, if it's "vacuum" I don't understand why stuff is *blowing off* the manifold? Unless the BOV is not working properly and building up back pressure that causes the hose to be spit off.
