annoying rattle-vibration and noise at 2500 rpm

My car has been doing this for years, at a particular engine speed it seems to resonate with the AC hose going over the compressor and then cause a vibration and light noise you can hear and feel through the firewall. Attaching a pic of how the hose goes over and where it is typically tucked into the metal holder piece.

At the moment it does it at 2500 rpm -- above and below that speed, no problems. I've tried pulling the hose away from the compressor and I think that helps. It's been suggested that maybe it needs to be more tightly attached. I haven't ran the engine at 2500 rpm while trying to see if there is anything obviously resonating.

Is this just a quirk of my car? @_@
