Clutch slave replacement without hydraulic pressure Posted by JB90 [Email] (#1688) [Profile/Gallery] (more from JB90) on Mon, 29 Aug 2016 05:12:45 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I'm going to attempt replacement of my leaking clutch slave on my 91 turbo. I lost all pedal pressure last week and the week prior I had topped off the brake fluid reservoir when it was inexplicably low. There is no apparent leakage at the master cylinder so all signs point to the slave.
Since I don't have any hydraulic pressure to depress the pressure plate fingers does anyone have any tips to accomplish this without the special saab tool 83 94 033? I have never done any clutch work before, but reading through the Bentley manual it seems doable.
