I bought it when one of the tripod joints spilled all of its needles after a lower control arm broke. The only place that had one in stock was NAPA. This was about 10 years ago.
That axle is still going strong. The outer boot only lasted a year or so before it split at one of the pleats. It was relatively easy, if a little bit on the sloppy side, to replace the boot. Decent aftermarket boots are fairly inexpensive at eEuro.
I've learned to replace the outer boot on a remanufactured axle and put lots of the right kind of grease in it before putting it into service. Also learned to have a box of nitrile gloves in stock at all times to keep various kinds of grease off the hands :-)
Still much better than buying a non-rebuildable axle.
