one option is replacing the entire line between pump and fuel filter which includes check new valve at pump end and new 14mm banjo fitting at fuel filter inlet end. These are now available as p/n 8976110 from some site sponsors. Doing this requires lowering the gas tank a little to fish line between top of tank and floor of trunk. Line is clipped into plastic retainers on trunk floor. Probably also a good time to replace fuel filter if not done already.
