The og9-3 is a bit squirrely but I do find them fairly fun to drive. The 9-5 is more solid, but a little bit larger feeling. Reliable, safe, but not really as fun as the c900's or the 9-3, but still fun enough. I can actually take corners faster in the 9-5's but the c900 *feels* faster and more fun in the corners if that makes sense.
TBH, daily driving any SAAB now is a bit different experience. The newest 9-5's (ignoring NG) are about 10 years old, and the og9-3's are 15 pushing 20... so not that far fetched from c900 ownership if one plans to keep any of these cars for any amount of time. The c900 is pretty simple to repair (in contrast to newer saabs) so it could outlast the newer models if kept up by a caring owner.
