Yes.. one that turns to off
Here is a breakdown of the 1/2 amp Draw... read on a 10Amp Meter : .. I think my units were off above.
Relay that turns to off in 30 seconds :
Yellow Relay Draws 0.01 all the time.
Alarm Draws 0.02-.03 all the time
Clock : Fluctuates between .00-.02
Radio : is a newer one and does not register on the.. thus it is .0004 or below.
Total is .04.05 fluctuating with the clock which is 1/2 Amp.
I can get the meter to read 0.00 if I a. disconnect the Alarm b. remove the yellow box c. remove fuse 28 for clock. this way my battery should lasts for months.. with only a .0004 draw from the radio memory.
Other than the yellow relay I suppose this could be normal draw I suppose.. it is enough to kill the battery in about a 6-10 days. I have killed a cheap battery a and a red top... current battery is a yellow top is from 2015 that I have had on a tender since.. I took the tender off and seeing how it keeps charge now.
Above is 10 Amp Meter.. so I believe my draw to start was 1/2 amp (or 0.05 on the 10 amp scale)... which will kill a batter in around 10 days.
Looking on line 1/2 amp will kill a 75 amp batter in 150 hour or around 6 days.. this math all works out.. In my experience.. that is exactly about the life of my batter with the parasitic draw. Our clocks draw a ton of amps.. I read that saab in europe dealers would unplug fuse 28 on vehicles.. and part of the pre sale prep was to plug back fuse 28.
this only is an issue now when these are hobby cars.
With my adjustments I am now at .0004 with radio only or 4 miliamps or below.. which is acceptable. this is 4/1000 of an amp.
