I don't mind at all if it helps other members of the site.
The shop is called Best Machine, located in San Rafael. It was $390 for a valve job, skim and cleaning. That was about the going rate from shops I'd called in the area.
There is no other pitting anywhere else on the head. There is some minor pitting around the edges of the jackets on the block. Engine has around 320k on it. I'm considering getting the block surfaced. I wasn't expecting the scoring or the slight piston slap and so haven't budgeted for a full block overhaul.
There's some scoring in one cylinder wall, (My nail catches it), and some piston movement in the bores. For what it's worth the compression test came in at 170psi for each piston. (cold), before I took the motor out to do all oil seals, timing chain. (Tensioner measured 10.7mm).
