Clock Spring/Cruise Control?? Posted by stopsaabn [Email] (#1418) [Profile/Gallery] (more from stopsaabn) on Wed, 11 Apr 2018 05:19:40 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I recently replaced my steering wheel (with working horn buttons) and decided to replace the clock spring while I had the steering wheel off; just in case this was why my horn was not working. Success, the horn now works in addition to the cruise control, which has not been working for the last couple of years. I know the wiring for the cruise control, turn signal, and windshield wiper levers all go through the steering column, but does the clock spring have anything to do with these controls; other than the horn? I have 94CE Saab, just in case that matters.
