The only place I found on a recommendation from here was Nordic Motors in Redwood City. This was for my 9-3SS water pump though, nasty job. I think they will work on C900's but have not seen one there. Not super cheap but quick.
Surprisingly Portola Valley Garage seem pretty enthusiastic about working on a C900. They work on a lot of exotic stuff but do not seem crazy expensive. I have seen a C900 Conv there recently and they seem quite knowledgeable on the car and quite enthusiastic to work on it, which is not the norm as you are probably finding out.
I would be interested if anyone has any other ideas. Obviously Saab Factory is gone too.
Despite the reputation of the car as being odd most of it is pretty simple and quite a lot of parts are still readily available online. Any decent local mechanic should be able to do routine stuff or fix it yourself always an option, which is what I do on my 1993 Conv. Not so great if it is your only car though!
