Ha! Yes, that was a ridiculous deal, as they more often go for around $300 give or take. Found them on the local equivalent of CL (nobody uses CL up here). While I'm gloating, I also found a pair of ecodes, *with bulbs* for cheap (less than $50, iirc, it was $30, but that was about 10 years ago and ecodes used to be stock on c900's in Canada). More recently a pair of ng9-3 alloy rims for $30. Found a set of mint Klingons (17" 9-5, incorrectly advertised as 16") for $200. Sometimes sellers don't value or know what they've got!
Honestly though, it would be really hard to sell 15" SAAB c900 alloys nowadays (other than as scrap metal) unless they were special or you had a good connection like with TSN. Very few of these cars are still on the road up here, largely due to rust, and those that are tend to already have alloys... so there just is not a big market of buyers. I've got 1 running c900 right now and 3 sets of alloys and a set of ancient steel wheels I'm saving for when I eventually need to send one to the crusher.
My point was, you should be able to find a set of basic c900 15" alloy rims for $100 give or take. I can't imagine bothering with steelies for that price.
