I have usually purchased the complete clutch kits from eEuro. Meaning, disc, pressure plate (I think they're Sachs brand), clutch shaft seal, clutch shaft cover seal, pilot bearing, and Pro Parts slave cylinder.
Only now I'm a little suspicious of new slaves and have used the slave rebuild kits instead.
Presently I see two slave rebuild kits on their site, ranging between $12-$14 with the "Genuine Saab" the cheaper of the two. Dunno...either would be fine I guess...I think eEuro sometimes assembles kits with slightly higher-end materials but not sure in this case.
And probably any of the non-ProParts release bearings would be better (I'm seeing Sachs, SKF and Genuine Saab) than the ProParts selection.
Lately I've become a little more cowboy with my clutch work, depending on the car. With my '92 900S (where access is relatively simple compared to a turbo), I'll drop in a new disc but keep the pressure plate if I can't see any scoring or obvious flaws from wear-and-tear. I'm trading my time for a few bucks savings by only replacing certain parts.
Now that I think about it...that's kind of stupid; I need to modify that kind of thinking.
But I agree with blacksheep; if you drop in all new stuff, you can forget about your clutch system for the next few years. I generally prefer that approach, also.
I think as long as you're careful with the slave rebuild (and everything else as new), you'll enjoy better chances of finish-and-forget than if you buy and drop in a new slave.
I have some suspicion about ProParts quality based on reports here but I think I've only suffered one clear failure of their product. Push ProParts brand down to the bottom of your selection list and you should be fine.
If you're going for the T5 upgrade sometime soon, maybe the slave-only repair list would be alright. You'd just have to keep in mind that a problem MIGHT pop up somewhere else if you do JUST the slave.
If you've got the time, you can do the minimalist approach.
