Thanks for the info about the location of the resistor. Don't think it's the blower motor as the first setting on the AC knob still makes it work(manual says it over rides the fan 3 speed switch.) So I can get heat but I need to have air blowing out of the defroster outlets on the dash to clear the windows. Are these resistor packs still available? I also checked some old forum posts and it seems a common problem is knocking the grey wire for the fan off the AC control when removing the radio. I checked that and that's not the issue so must be the fan switch or the resistor?
Nice to hear there's still an old 900 still truck'n in Alaska. :-)
