And if there was external leaks, it would probably be on the pressure side of the oil supply that comes from the side of the block over the top and down to the inlet of the turbo. Might be the gasket gave up, or the coking of the other side has blocked the oil drain, and leaking from the lower connection.
Simon is correct if the turbo itself is internally passing oil, then it would be going out the exhaust pipe, you see blue smoke......
The supply hard line can develop a leak but if it does, there is a large amount of oil under pressure in an area that could start an oil fire. Better keep your eye on this.
