Simplest way to remove central locking module?

I'm trying to remove the central locking module in my '93 900S. From what I understand, it's clipped onto the air duct that resides below the dash on the passenger side of the car.
I tried bending down the duct with a moderate amount of force, but it moved very little. I'm wary about pulling it harder. Are there any screws or other pieces that have to be removed/undone to make this process easier?
