Next question-- Alternator tensioner arm bushings? Posted by Devin [Email] (#2469) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Devin) on Sun, 18 Nov 2018 11:16:19 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
It's been a banner weekend for work on the Saab. I think that the belts are going because the bushing on the tensioner arm turned to dust and crumbled in my hand when I was poking around down there trying to tighten up the bolt that mounts the arm to the block.
The mechanic replaced the bushings on the bracket that hold the alternator a few years back, but he must have missed the one on the arm.
Now for the question: Are the hard poly ones that come in two pieces from eEuro OK?
And, if not, then what about the much cheaper Proparts? There's one from Meyle, too, which is probably original, but I'm having a hard time finding it online. Thanks!
