I went to Safelite yesterday after I found a windshield and gasket, on line, for $319.00. I chose the driveway service, no problem. When I showed up at the store it was a different story. Manager told me he would not even need to check his computer; there was no way he would have a windshield for a 25 year old Saab in stock, maybe not even in the system. I also found the gasket on line ranging from $55.00 to $75.00 from 4 or 5 auto parts stores. I'll check later today to see if they actually have any in stock. I see an occasional windshield for sale , on E-Bay, but always on a pickup basis, no shipping option. Makes sense.
