I use a similar homebrew type of eeuroparts engine mount on all three points on the racecar. It makes the engine part of the chassis really, you will find a remarkable difference in how the torque goes down.
the most significant difference is the shift feel, and positive engagement in the transmission without the motor flexing back and forth when the shift shaft is fastened to the midpoint on the chassis.
The torque effect on the racecar was so bad with the old style like 8 valve engine mounts, the gearbox would end up in 3rd when shifting under power out forth on the way to 5th gear. Boy, is that ever a surprise when it happens.
The good news is now we have no gearshift missed gate shifts with the three points pinned.
