I am overhauling my A/C system and purchased an A/C Receiver Drier from Eeuroparts.com. It wasn’t until I went to install it that I realized the new unit did not come with a Low Pressure Cut-Off Switch. I thought I had ordered the wrong part but no, that is the only way it comes. Not just from them but all the usual sources as well.

The old unit did not look, from all appearances, as though the Low Pressure Cut-Off Switch was a separate item but rather part of the actual assembly. This turned out not to be true. Placing the assembly in a vise and using a pair of Channel Lock pliers, I was able to unscrew the old sensor from the unit. Still, since I’m going to the trouble of overhauling the system it seemed a shame to try and reuse the old one.

Curiously, Eeuroparts.com does not stock a replacement Low Pressure Cut-Off Switch. While I was at my local AutoZone picking up a few extra O-rings I asked them about it, they looked it up, and sure enough they had one listed. They had to order it, but it was here the next day.
