Hello,
Sounds like something has gone crazy in your cruise control system. It uses vacuum to manually pull the accelerator pedal. I would work on getting it disconnected.
Have you had any work done on the car recently that could have lead to a vacuum line being connected that shouldn't have. If not the cruise unit is located on the drivers side inner fender by the APC box. I would start with disconnecting the cruise unit there and see if it happens again. Good Luck, Bernie
