Looking at your previous posts, it looks like you have a bit of a FrankenSAAB .. 900S with a turbo engine transplant. One big question is whether the person who did the transplant kept the LH 2.4.2 engine management system or transplanted in the correct LH 2.4 and its wiring harness.
If you have all of the vacuum issues sorted out that had been mentioned in responses to your earlier posts this year, one thing to look at can be the connectors to the AMM, the throttle position switch, and the AIC valve.
My '89 SPG had a high idle problem similar to yours. Cleaning the pins on those connectors with tuner cleaner solved that issue - idle is now rock solid. Evidently on mine, there was enough coating on some the connector pins that the ECU didn't always know when the throttle was closed.
I don't recall whether anybody mentioned cleaning the AMM with Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner. If you haven't done it already. now is a good time to do it.
