So why would oil leak out of the harmonic balancer bolt.I removed the harmonic balancer bolt and the threads were wet and oil is definitely leaking out of the backside of that bolt.I pulled the motor to put a transmission in, replaced the oil pump o-ring and the seal put the whole car back together and noticed it was leaking. So I had just assumed it was the seal that was leaking on the crank and it turned out that oil was leaking out of the threads on the harmonic balancer bolt. What could possibly be the fix.could I just put anaerobic sealant on the threads.
