Stereo amp and powered sub

I have a stereo amp with a 30 amp fuse and am considering another 30 amp fuse to a small powered sub. Will that work?
Last year I purchased Focal 4" and 6.4" speakers with a four channel Focal amp to match (No amp under the rear seat of my 91 900 conv.).
This year, before the install, my Clarion lost a channel. After a long time thinking about how much I am going to miss the words Clarion - Made for SAAB on my dash I decided to take the plunge for the new retro, bluetooth, Blaupunkt Bremen and keep the Clarion only to slide in at weekend car shows (wishful thinking) or to get classic plates one day.
Speakers are now in (Focal front is a PITA as the tweeters are not flush with the speaker and need a miracle, custom shim, and custom bent clips to fit).
Had fun making a bracket for the new amp under the rear seat to match the bracket on the passenger side).
Now I want to put in a small sub so that I can get full value from my new stereo which has a sub line out
Crutchfield recommends an 8" powered sub. I like that because it's small and I don't lose my fader, but I wonder if my 80Amp alternator can handle two additional 30 Amp fuses to the battery along with the power windows, seats, top, etc.
