Front of seat cushion adjuster
Posted by Emmanuel Kafant [Email] (more from Emmanuel Kafant) on Mon, 29 Jun 2020 20:01:58
Was replacing the driver seat on my 89 900, originally had automatic seat belts. I was replacing it with another seat, same original auto seat belt set up. Both had the handle on the side, later style setup with 4 bolts holding it down. On the replacement, noticed a small handle on the bottom of the seat, left front. It raises the front of the cushion up or down, 3 positions. Saw that my seat had it also, except plastic handle was gone, broken I guess in the past. Both had same setup basically. No mention in the owners manual, and neither my boss (long time Saab mechanic) or I have ever seen it. Not a custom thing, since both setups were identical. Was this an accessory? Just wanting to find info about the adjuster.
