1988 c900 no start Posted by saabdood [Email] (#2761) [Profile/Gallery] (more from saabdood) on Sun, 8 Nov 2020 11:38:24 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I've been working on my 1988 c900 turbo conv (SiS) for a while
now. It won't start. The fuel pump isn't running but if I jump
it in the fusebox it does run.
Yesterday I checked pin 18 on the ECU connector with the ignition
on and there's no power there. I checked fuse 22. It has power
and the fuse is good.
I want to make sure I'm looking at the right pins on the connector,
and I'd like to know if that should be +12v if the system relay is
removed?
Where on the system relay should I check for power? Do I check it
with the ign on or off? Which relay is system, and which is fuel
pump? They are just alike so I'm unsure.
I'm following the instructions under "ECU Pin Checks" on Tom
Townsend's "No Start LH 2.2" instructions.
Thank you for any assistance.
