I just purchased a set of Aero rims for my 1987 900 convertible. The stock rims from my 1987 were a 4 bolt pattern. I chose to stay with the standard cap, which was 6 1/2" in diameter. In 1988 they went to a 5 bolt pattern and for some reason went to a 6" cap. I don't know if the diameter of the inner cap, which you have changed, going from 6" to 6 1/2". What year is your convertible?
Confusing, is it possible the hubs on your convertible have been changed to the 4 bolt pattern to accommodate your rims.
