We're running 16" 9000 Super Aeros on our '90 SPG with 205/50's and 16" 9000 Aeros on our '93 c900 turbo hatchback with 205/55's and 1/2" spacers added in the rear to upgraded SPG springs. Both cars are running Koni Red's on the middle adjustment setting. I think the Super Aeros look good on the SPG which also has a factory whale tail. But, they are a bit bulbous and aggressive-looking compared to the 16' Aeros which are sorta halfway between the 15" Aeros and the 16" Super Aeros in appearance. Personally, I think the 16" Aeros would look better on a convertible. That said, I actually like the stock 15" Aero wheels that came on our '91 c900 MCY Convertible and not sure I would change them. Just my 2¢ . . .
On another similar topic, we just tried to get Costco to install 195/65-15's instead of 195/60-15's on our '92 C900 Turbo Convertible with stock rims and they would not do it. There are more options for 195/65-15's as to tire brands, specs and cost is why I asked for them. I've run into this several times lately where tire venders refuse to install non-standard (according to their computer) tire sizes.
